The trace elements determination in food products presents a double challenge:

  • Reaching low concentration levels (< mg/kg) in complex samples
  • Measuring specifically the most toxic or most bioavailable chemical forms in enriched feed

The use of cutting-edge technologies allows us to achieve this information and therefore is very helpful against the regulation (evaluation of the benefits/risks) and the understanding of the assimilation mechanisms of the ingested metals.
